International Community to send US aid.

Katrina has been said to be 'our tsunami', I imagine that the international community will be falling over themselves to help out, with massive donations and humanitarian aid, just like we do every time one of their squalid little nations has a disaster. Oh wait, what was I thinking, the only response will be "Allah's will, punishment for Bush's policies". I propose that every red cent of foreign aid, to the last dollar, be held at home to pay for this, and all affected who are not US citizens, or permanent aliens, be denied assistance, no check that, we should just go ahead and deport them.

A radical idea for some but not all. I agree we should limit what we give out in foreign aid. That is our money (the taxpayer's). When we dole out billions to these third worlders we should treat it as a business transaction. Now that I assisted you and yours, what are you willing to do for me? Unfortunately for the taxpayer it never works to our betterment. Our government should do better cleaning up our own backyard before we try to police and peacekeep every flea nation on the planet.
