DaimlerChrysler = American nothing?

I am not a fan of American built automobiles, it's not that I am Anti-American, but the products that the US automakers produce are a joke in comparison with foreign automakers. Even DaimlerChrysler has decided take advantage of both the lame automobiles and the Anti American sentiment overseas.

It would appear that this maybe a part of their new "Global Image Campaign" ?

Heh. Chrysler's domestic product does seem to be improving a (small) bit since the merger. Unfortunately, while BMWs and Mercedes make great automobiles, when they do start to break down, (as all machines do), they cost you a fortune in parts and repair. They're the greatest autos in the world as long as you buy them new and sell them when the warranty runs out.

On the flip side, parts for American cars are a lot cheaper. It's just that you have to start buying them two weeks after you roll the car off the lot.

Union labor is an oxymoron.
