Mexican Police Arrest Four Illegal Iraqis

Mexican federal agents have arrested four Iraqis trying to sneak into the United States without proper documents, the government said Monday.

Wasim Francis Schamoun and Ivan Yalda, both 23, and Refon Chlil Oraha and Thaer Salem Yelda, both 27, were found on a bus in the northern city of Navajoa after police received an anonymous tip, the attorney general's office said in a statement.

Wino's grow a backbone

French President Jacques Chirac has said France would be ready to use nuclear weapons against any state which launched a terrorist attack against it. According to the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists this attack could also be preventively against rogue states with WMD’s.

The French attacking anybody is laughable by itself, let alone a preventive attack, wonder how much debate it would take before the would push the button? Would they go at it alone, or would the require the help from the good ole US of A once again? Bets anyone?

Ooops!

You need not be a “Munitions Expert” to recognize that this item in the picture is NOT the remains of a missile! But reading the New York Times, (shame on you) this is what you will see:

Pakistani men with the remains of a missile fired at a house in the Bajur tribal zone near the Afghan border.

Reminds me of the commercial with the cavemen! “Maybe next time you should do a little research!”

Update: It would appear that the rest of the blogsphere has laid the wood to the good ole boys at the NYT so they have changed their story. The American Thinker has a nice little write up.

What would you do?

Situation:

A terrorist attack is imminent and the suspects are in your sight, do you:

a) do what George Clooney would do and try to "understand" them

b) do what an ACLU attorney would do and make sure their "rights" aren't violated during the commision of their attack

c) do what Jack Bauer would do and shoot, knife, kick, punch and disembowel them until they are no longer a threat

If you answered "c" then you are a good American.

If you answered "a" or "b" then get out of my country. And if you are a male (not a man) and you are married then leave your wife and kids behind because you obviously can't protect them.

Patriot Act in question? By who?

The latest Fox News poll has some interesting data on Americans' views of the war against terror, and the NSA spying-on-al-Qaeda program:

24. After the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Congress passed the Patriot Act which, in part, gives federal officials wider authority to use wiretaps and other surveillance techniques. Some people say the Patriot Act is a necessary and effective tool in preventing terrorist attacks, while others say the act goes too far and could violate the civil liberties of average Americans. Which comes closer to your view -- overall, would you say the Patriot Act is a good thing for America or a bad thing for America?

Good: 53%
Bad: 30%
Mixed: 13%

26. Based on what you know, do you support or oppose extending the Patriot Act when it comes up for renewal?

Support: 57%
Oppose: 31%
Not sure: 11%

29. When you hear of government officials anonymously leaking top-secret national security information to the press, are you more inclined to think of the officials as patriots who are blowing the whistle because they think something illegal might be going on, or traitors who are leaking government secrets and possibly causing harm to the country?

Whistle-blowers: 27%
Traitors: 50%
Not sure: 23%

30. Do you think the president should or should not have the power to authorize the National Security Agency to monitor electronic communications of suspected terrorists without getting warrants, even if one end of the communication is in the United States?

Should: 58%
Should not: 36%
Not sure: 6%

31. In an effort to identify terrorist activity, do you think the president should or should not have the power to authorize the National Security Agency to do computer searches of large numbers of international phone calls coming in and out of the United States without getting warrants?

Should: 60%
Should not: 34%
Not sure: 7%

It's your fault....

Three men attempted to rape a girl and her neice, she defened herself and killed one of her attackers. So how does the Religon of Peace courts handle it?

Tehran, Iran, Jan. 07 – An Iranian court has sentenced a teenage rape victim to death by hanging after she weepingly confessed that she had unintentionally killed a man who had tried to rape both her and her niece.

The state-run daily Etemaad reported on Saturday that 18-year-old Nazanin confessed to stabbing one of three men who had attacked the pair along with their boyfriends while they were spending some time in a park west of the Iranian capital in March 2005.

Nazanin, who was 17 years old at the time of the incident, said that after the three men started to throw stones at them, the two girls’ boyfriends quickly escaped on their motorbikes leaving the pair helpless.

She described how the three men pushed her and her 16-year-old niece Somayeh onto the ground and tried to rape them, and said that she took out a knife from her pocket and stabbed one of the men in the hand.

As the girls tried to escape, the men once again attacked them, and at this point, Nazanin said, she stabbed one of the men in the chest. The teenage girl, however, broke down in tears in court as she explained that she had no intention of killing the man but was merely defending herself and her younger niece from rape, the report said.

The court, however, issued on Tuesday a sentence for Nazanin to be hanged to death.

Doltish Parents of the Year Award

2006 has just started yet we have our first candidates for this award:

When a father and step-mother went on vacation to Las Vegas, to celebrate the New Year, they got a sitter for their new puppies, but left their children at home alone.

The children’s maternal grandmother, who lives about 35 miles away, suspected the boys were left alone and alerted the police. The police department tried for three days to get a hold of the so called parents, leaving multiple messages.

Officers began calling Calero's cell phone Saturday, but he didn't call back until Tuesday. "We get the sense that they felt no urgency for them to return home," Kalinowski said.

Hope they rot in jail.

Phasers on Stun

Well it has taken a little longer that we expected, but now directed-energy weapons are soon to be deployed in the battle field. Wonder how long it will be until I can go to a gun store to pick up a hand held phaser.

Remember the Yugo???

Well here we go again; the Yugo was advertised as the cheapest car on the market, as we all are aware of, it was a blip in car history. I do believe it was the butt of more jokes than actual sales in the US.

"Geely says it will be very competitively priced when it goes on sale — below the $10,000 level."

So now here comes China with the Geely, also advertising as a cheap car. Wonder what the outcome will be?

Are you a Democrat, Republican or Southern Republican?

Here is a little test that will help you decide:

You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, an Islamic Terrorist with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, praises Allah, raises the knife, and charges.

You are carrying a Glock 40, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family.

What do you do?

**************************
Democrat's Answer:
Well, that's not enough information to answer the question!

Does the man look poor or oppressed?

Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?

Could we run away?

What does my wife think?

What about the kids?

Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand? What does the law say about this situation!?

Does the Glock have appropriate safety built into it?

Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?

Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me?

Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?

If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me?

Should I call 9-1-1?

Why is this street so deserted?

We need to raise taxes, have a paint and weed day and make this
happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.

This is all so confusing! ! I need to debate this with some friends
for few days and try to come to a consensus.

Republican's Answer:

Oprah duped!

Not that I watch the self proclaimed goody too shoes, but to see that see had been duped is hilarious. James Frey a rich little preppy boy writes a book about his rehab. As we all know rehab stories provide a way for pampered trust-fund brats like Frey to claim victim status. But wait there’s more! Smoking Gun conducted a six week investigation into the reported rap sheet and the conclusions are he lied! Imagine that, someone lying in print once again, he must be interviewing for the editor’s job at the New York Times in the near future.

Train of Terror

So when was the last time your read or heard anything about those riots in France? Been a while right, well could that because of those cheese eating wino’s in the media are so in love with the French that 425 cars torched and 362 arrests on New Year's or getting robbed and raped on a train are not worthy to be printed on fish wrapping paper that we called the New York times?

Quote of the day

World War I led not to ‘Democracy’ but to the creation of three dictatorships: Soviet Russia, Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany. World War II led, not to ‘Four Freedoms’, but to the surrender of one-third of the world’s population into communist slavery.

If peace were the goal of today’s intellectuals, a failure of that magnitude – and the evidence of unspeakable suffering on so large a scale – would make them pause and check their statist premises. Instead, blind to everything but their hatred for capitalism, they are now asserting that “Poverty Breeds Wars”.

But the question is: What Breeds Poverty?

If you look at the world of today and if you look back at history, you will see the answer: The degree of a country’s freedom is the degree of its prosperity.
